Counselling and Psychotherapy for Adults
Orlaigh is an experienced Psychotherapist, she offers time with her to explore and discover the sources of your pain and develop your capacity to think psychologically about your difficulties, making healthy changes and progress in your life.
Orlaigh is a Registered Psychotherapist MBACP (Accred) with over 10 years experience. She has worked for an NHS Clinic in Westminster for several years and NGOs in East London. Orlaigh now runs her Private Psychotherapy practice in North London while also offering some of her time to a Psychotherapy Center in Marylebone.
In her private psychotherapy practice Orlaigh provides therapy for young professionals needing a warm, supportive and consistent therapy that is deeply thoughtful and containing.
Orlaigh can help you understand your ambivalent and conflicting feelings about work, self and others. Her approach includes making meaningful links to your past which helps to make sense of whats happening to you today.
Treatment is usually reviewed after the initial 6 weeks to see if Orlaigh is a good fit for you and how she can help you. Then if you wish to work deeper, therapy can continue for longer, open-ended, with an expectation that you give 4 weeks notice and discuss a planned ending.
You can contact Orlaigh directly on 07714793242 for a brief consultation and if both agree, she will book in a time for a full assessment with you.
If Orlaigh feels you are better suited to another type of therapy/service or she does not have availability, she will give you onward recommendations.
